Welcome to irelandVIPtours.com (Ireland VIP Tours). These are our Terms and Conditions for Private Driver Tour or VIP Driving Service (Dublin Airport Transfer or custom VIP Trip) provided by Ireland VIP Tours (“we”, “us”, “our) and our esteemed clients and customers (“you”, “your”).
By booking a tour or service with us you agree to these terms and conditions.
When payment for a tour or or driving service is confirmed by Ireland VIP Tours a contract between us and you comes into existence. These Terms and Conditions are the terms of that contract. The contract is governed by Irish Law and, in a situation where a client or customer wishes to take legal recourse, the matter(s) will be addressed in the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
These terms and conditions are applicable to our Private Driver Tours and our VIP Driver Services.
1. Bookings
.1.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by us.
1.2 A booking is payable in full at the time of making the booking.
1.3 PayPal is the payment method which must be used.
1.4 In circumstances where a customer does not have access to a PayPal account please email us and we will do our best to accommodate.
1.5 When a booking is made via our website you will receive an email confirmation of the booking. That email represents confirmation of your booking and the start of your contract with us. You must retain this email as proof of your booking.
1.6 We do not accept responsibility for wrong emails being used by clients when booking or for any technical issues which prevent your booking confirmation email from arriving with you. It is your responsibility to follow up with us if you do not receive a confirmation email within a reasonable period of time after you make your booking with us.
2. Third party bookings
2.1 Your tour or trip booking fee does not include entry to any visitor centre, business or other third-party service which we may visit or use during your tour or trip. All additional bookings must be made by you in advance of the visit where required by the third-party business. It is your responsibility to manage those bookings i.e. using correct names for tickets, retaining tickets and having them with you, as required. It is your responsibility to know and abide by any and all terms and conditions which any third party provider places on bookings.
3. Insurance
3.1 Travel insurance is not included in the cost of your tour or trip.
3.2 We take no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred whilst you are taking part in any activities outside of our driving service. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive insurance for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money and public liability before you travel. We accept no responsibility for theft, loss or damage to personal belongings from at any time during the duration of your tour or trip with us.
4. Cancellations & refunds
4.1 To cancel your tour or driving service, please email us at hello@irelandviptours.com.
4.2 Tours and driving services can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the beginning of the tour or driving service, and tour or service cost will be fully refunded at 100% the cost of the booking.
4.3 Your email requesting cancellation must be received by us 24 hours before the start date and time indicated in your booking confirmation. All dates and times for cancellations are taken as Dublin, Ireland time. It is your responsibility to be aware of the local time in Dublin if you are in a situation whereby you need to cancel a tour or trip.
4.4 Emails requesting cancellation must be sent from the email address used to make the booking. We are not responsible for wrong email addresses being used or technical issues which may interrupt or block delivery of your email to us. If you do not receive a response from us regarding your cancellation within a reasonable length of time it is your responsibility to follow up with us.
4.5 When we receive your email requesting cancellation, we will reply to you as quickly as possible to confirm the cancellation. This is not an automated service so it may take up to four hours before we can reply. You are free to follow up with us within that period of time if you wish. The cancellation time is taken as being the time at which the email arrived with us and not the time at which we see it.
4.6 After the cancellation has been confirmed all refunds will be made directly to the PayPal account used to make the booking only. If you have booked by other means we will contact you after confirmation to arrange a refund, again the refund will be made via the same payment method as the original booking and to the same account as the original booking.
4.7 If you choose to cancel your tour or driving service less than 24 hours before the booking start time no refund will be payable.
5. Tour and trip postponements
It can happen that customers and clients wish to postpone their tour or driving service. In that case we will do our best to accommodate a new date for the tour or or service.
5.1 Requests for postponements can be made at hello@irelandviptours.com.
5.2 Requests for postponements must be made 24 before the start date as indicated in your booking confirmation. All dates and times are taken as Dublin, Ireland time. It is your responsibility to be aware of the local time in Dublin when postponing a tour or trip.
5.3 No refund will be made in respect of postponements. We will change the date of the tour as requested if possible. The vehicle type for the tour will remain as indicated in your booking confirmation. If you wish to amend the vehicle type for your trip please see 6. Amendments to Vehicle Type below here.5.4 If it is not possible to find a suitable alternative date for your tour or trip you may cancel the trip in full. In that regrettable situation the terms and conditions described in 4. Cancellations & refunds above will apply.
6. Amendments to Vehicle Type
6.1 A booking is valid for the vehicle type indicated by you when making the booking (Luxury Car [up to 3 people]; Luxury Minivan [up to 7 people]; or Luxury Bus [up to 16 people]). If, for any reason, you wish to amend the vehicle type, please contact us by email at hello@irelandviptours.com and we will try to make arrangements.
6.2 A request to change vehicle type must be up to 24 hours before the start of your tour or driving service. We will not accommodate any requested change of vehicle made less than 24 hours before a tour or trip start date and time.
6.3 We will do our best to accommodate the request but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to change vehicle type in all circumstances even when the request is made more than 24 hours before the tour or trip is due to commence. If we cannot accommodate your request then the vehicle type indicated in your booking confirmation will be used.
6.4 If you need to upgrade your tour or trip vehicle (more people or change of preference) we will request the additional payment, based on the updated number of people on the tour. We will arrange this with you by email while we are upgrading your vehicle type.
6.5 If your tour or trip will include fewer people than initially booked for, we will downgrade your vehicle accordingly if requested and possible. We will arrange any refund due with you by email while we are downgrading your vehicle type.
7. Changes by us
7.1 We reserve the right to change our typical itineraries at any time and at our discretion. As professionals we will make every effort to avoid this and if this is necessary, we will substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value.
7.2 We reserve the right to alter or cancel the whole or part of the tour in the event of happenings outside the control of Ireland VIP Tours. Reasons may include but are not limited to force majeure matters such as extreme adverse local weather conditions or weather warnings, natural disasters, civil strikes or conflict, terrorist activity, fire, flood conditions and similar. No compensation will be payable for force majeure cancellations.
8. Travel
8.1 You must obey the laws of the Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the European Union while travelling on our tours in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland respectively. We ask you to show respect to the diverse customs and traditions that exist in Ireland. If you do not comply with these requirements, you may be removed from the tour or trip without refund, compensation or responsibility to us for any additional costs incurred by you as a result. Your driver will decide and their decision will be final.
8.2 In very rare circumstances your driver may need to make a decision regarding the tour or trip in the interest of safety. You must comply with your driver in these circumstances. If you do not comply we reserve the right to remove you from the tour or trip without refund, compensation or responsibility on us for any additional costs incurred by you as a result. We cannot accept liability for the behaviour of others on your tour nor if any facilities are curtailed as a result of their actions.
9. Your responsibilities while you are with us
9.1 You must inform us in writing of any medical condition that requires attention or medication before your tour commences.
9.2 It is your responsibility to have all necessary visas, passports, permits and certificates required for your selected itinerary and to comply with all applicable laws.9.3 When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you to any visitor centre, facility or other business which is visited during the tour or trip. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid at the time direct to the owner or manager of the business affected. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions.
10. Complaints
10.1 In the unlikely event that you may wish to make a complaint against us, please inform your driver at the time. If the issue cannot be resolved immediately or during your tour or trip after your driver’s best attempts to do so, your complaint should be made in writing to Ireland VIP Tours as soon as is reasonably possible after the tour or trip, but within 30 days thereof so that your complaint can be investigated fully. We will not consider any complaints after the 30-day period. You will be assured of respect, courtesy and professionalism whilst your complaint is being dealt with.
11. The Irish Weather
11.1 Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for weather conditions in Ireland. Tour or trips cannot be cancelled or amended by you at any time on the basis of weather conditions. We accept no responsibility for weather conditions that may affect the delivery and implementation of our tour.
12. Smoking
12.1 We do not permit smoking on any of our vehicles.
13. General
13.1 The booking conditions detailed on this page contain the entire contract between you and Ireland VIP Tours. No representation, term, warranty or condition can be expressed or implied by reference to any other writing, advertisement or conversation. This contract may only be varied in writing by a duly authorised employee of Ireland VIP Tours.
13.2 This contract and all matters arising out of it are governed by Irish law. We both agree that any dispute, claim or other matter which arises out of or in connection with this contract or your holiday will be dealt with by the Courts of the Republic of Ireland only. Changes to these Booking Conditions will only be valid if agreed by Ireland VIP Tours in writing.
13.3 Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, however we cannot be held responsible for typographical or technical errors which affect the information there.
